3D Scan/Print Protocol published in STAR Protocols

Our lab’s 3D scanning and printing protocol was published in the journal STAR Protocols. The protocol entitled “Protocol for hybrid structured-light three-dimensional scanning and modeling of human postmortem brains” was led by co-first authors Morgan Smith and Dr. Elizabeth Ochoa. The protocol details systems and methods for 3D scanning brains for neuropathology research and education as well as 3D printing of customized tissue matrices to standardize brain tissue sectioning. Other study authors include Savannah Barannikov, Mallory Keating, Dr. Mohamad Habes, Dr. Maggie Flanagan, Dr. Sudha Seshadri, and Dr. Bieniek.
